HIV/AIDS
HIV is still prevalent in Mozambique and new cases continue to rise, particularly in young girls. Knowledge and information continue to be limited and fear of stigma and family rejection hinder the testing and medication process. Other diseases such as TB are more likely to affect those who are HIV positive resulting in life threatening situations.
Project Aim:
To improve the health of those with HIV AIDs, to stem the growth of new cases and to eradicate the stigma.
